Cady McClain has recently entered talks with ABC about renewing her contract, which is scheduled to expire in December. Typically, the networks begin negotiations about three months prior to the expiration of a contract. There's no word from either side if the "late" talks are a good or bad sign.
McClain made waves earlier this year by hinting that she might not renew her contract when it expires. The actress explained that while she enjoys bringing her character to life on All My Children, her future is not in soaps.
After leaving AMC in 1996, McClain performed in various theatre roles around the country.
