One Life to Live alum Hillary B. Smith will be doling out advice as a therapist on The Bold and the Beautiful. The Emmy-winning actress, who played OLTL's Nora for 20 years, will play a newly created role beginning next month.

The Bold and the Beautiful has trimmed its cast of two of its male stars. Brandon Beemer has confirmed that he's been taken off contract. Zack Conroy has also been downgraded to recurring.

The Bold and the Beautiful is continuing its cast-trimming measures. Lesley-Anne Down's official web site announced to fans that the actress' contract had not been renewed. Down joined the CBS soap in 2003.

The Bold and the Beautiful has decided not to pick up an option in Jack Wagner's newly signed contract with the show, according to the actor's official web site. Fans are now wondering if the actor might rejoin General Hospital. Wagner joined B&B in 2003.

Things in Port Charles may soon get a little crazy -- not that there's anything wrong with that. A General Hospital spokesperson confirms that Robin Mattson will reprise the role of Heather Webber this spring. Mattson has appeared on All My Children, As the World Turns, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, and Santa Barbara.

Joanna Johnson returns to The Bold and the Beautiful next month to help introduce a new character to the canvas. The character, though unknown to viewers, will be well known to the characters currently on the canvas. Johnson is an original B&B cast member.

A lawsuit filed against CBS by the street performer known as the Naked Cowboy has been dismissed by a federal judge. The Naked Cowboy, whose real name is Robert Burck, had been seeking $1.5 million in damages.

Another B&B star has been taken off contract. A spokesperson for the CBS soap confirms that Emmy winner Adrienne Frantz is now on recurring status. Frantz made her first appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997.

The Bold and the Beautiful's Ronn Moss and his wife, Devin, are recuperating from a serious car accident. Moss sustained facial lacerations, and both suffered some bumps and bruises. Moss has been a B&B cast member since the show's debut in 1987.

And then there were three. Ronn Moss, who has played Ridge Forrester since The Bold and the Beautiful's debut in 1987, is exiting the show. A published report states that Moss opted to exit the show rather than take a reduced salary.

Funnywoman Phyllis Diller died peacefully with 'a smile on her face' Monday at the age of 95. In addition to opening the door for a generation of female comics, Diller starred in numerous films and television projects -- including a stop in daytime on The Bold and the Beautiful.
