Karla Mosley has done her fair share of glamorous jobs as fashion model Maya Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful, but now she's giving a high-profile modeling job a go in real life.
The Pennsylvania native has been chosen by international design guru Gert-Johan Coetzee to walk his runway and showcase his Autumn/Winter collection as part of South Africa's Fashion Week.
"I'm so excited because she is just such a great brand fit," Coetzee gushes about Mosley. "The Bold and the Beautiful is all about the glitz, glamour and cameras flashing and that is exactly what the Gert-Johan Coetzee brand stands for."
As previously reported, Mosley and her costars Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan) are heading to South Africa this weekend as part of The Bold and the Beautiful's 30th anniversary tour.
Coetzee, who dedicates every collection to a social cause, has decided to raise funds for children's education this season -- a cause close to Mosley's heart.
