Emmy winner Jacob Young (Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-J.R. Chandler, All My Children; ex-Lucky Spencer, General Hospital) has released another single.
Young took to Instagram to announce the release of the song, called "Whiskey Kiss." Young also thanked his family, friends, and fans for their support of his musical endeavors.
"I honestly couldn't be more proud of this track! Want to say a massive thank you to all my family, friends and fans who have supported me! Without you I couldn't do it," Young wrote. "You give me strength every step of the way! You mean the world to me!" he wrote. The song is available to stream or purchase on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, Apple Music, and Google Play."
As previously reported, Young was recently dropped to recurring status at The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap he's called home since the cancellation of All My Children in 2011. Young took the news in stride and even referred to it as a "blessing."
"I have been under contract for 21 years and this to me is a blessing," Young said at the time. "I can now have the time to pursue all my passions."
Music is just one of those passions. In addition to the new music Young has released, the actor/singer also announced that he would be embarking on a summer tour. Young will also be appearing at the 2018 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He'll be at Roper booth, signing autographs and taking pictures at 10:15 AM.
