Jacob Young may have been moved to recurring status at The Bold and the Beautiful, but it seems his fans are actually seeing a lot more of him now that he's not reporting to soap duty every day.
Hot on the heels of releasing several new songs and news that he has landed several movies in the past few months comes word that he's currently producing a film, as well.
The Washington native shared on Twitter that he's throwing his hat behind a film called Mending the Line, described as a story about the destructive elements of war and the uplifting power of nature.
"Content that matters," he shared. "Healing PTSD one film at a time."

Young's tweet included extra information about the inspiration behind the film from its scriptwriter.
"I am an avid fly fisherman and I've written about the sport in magazines and books. I wrote this script while working at a bookstore in Yellowstone National Park," the post states. "I took inspiration from the captivating, natural Big Sky terrain and my daily commute along the Firehole River. I also took inspiration from my dad, a Vietnam vet who was during this time was battling a rare form of cancer caused by exposure to Agent Orange."
Fans will have to wait for additional info about Mending the Line, but they don't have to wait for Young's gratitude for all the support he's received since appearing less often on B&B. He recently shared his thoughts on social media, adding that he'll always be grateful for his daytime fans no matter what comes down the pipeline.
"I have literally been humbled by your overwhelming support as to why I'm not appearing on B&B and CBS Daytime," he wrote. "'I'm working on other projects and having the time of my life. I'd never turn my back on you my fans or the medium. Let them know what YOU really want to see."

Other projects Young has recently been working on include a film in which he plays a "super bad" character, a summer music tour with Mark Anthony Castrillion, and a film opposite his former AMC costar Alexa Havins (ex-Babe Carey). He also recently broke his foot, which didn't seem to slow him down for long!
