Ashley Jones is known for playing The Bold and the Beautiful's Bridget Forrester, The Young and the Restless' Megan Dennison, and General Hospital's Parker Forsyth -- but she's taking on a fabulous new role this year: Santa Claus!
Jones understands that this year has been tough for almost everyone, and in an effort to end 2020 on a high note, she has decided to host twelve days of giveaways to her Instagram followers. The actress, who shares with She Knows that the giveaway was inspired by her 2017 holiday film 12 Days of Giving, will be giving away gifts like a complete skincare system from Mother Dirt, a burger box from Meat District, and even a cash prize.
"I want to end the year on a positive, somewhat whimsical note," she says, adding, "I've been through some dark times. Some of it people know, some of it people don't. But the fans and the people I've met at events or through the blog [ashleyajones.com] were there for me. We're all there for each other. There's value to that, and if you find yourself in a position to do something for other people, why would you not want to do it?"
Jones's twelve days of giveaways will begin on Tuesday, December 2, and anyone can take part by following the actress' Instagram account (which you can do by clicking here) and awaiting further instructions.
Jones got her start in daytime with the role of The Young and the Restless' Megan Dennison, which she played from 1997 to 2000. The actress went on to become a staple on The Bold and the Beautiful as Bridget Forrester, a role she has played on-again, off-again since 2004 -- with her most recent return happening in early November. Jones also played the recurring role of General Hospital's Parker Forsyth, a professor who developed a romantic connection with her student Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), from 2016 to 2017.
