There's no point in saying that the 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be a star-studded event, because that's obvious. But the virtual telecast set to air on Friday, June 25, is getting an extra dose of star power from Diamond White. According to The Bold and the Beautiful, where she plays the role of Paris Buckingham, the talented actress will be singing the song that will accompany the ceremony's In Memoriam segment.

White is an accomplished singer who got her start in the entertainment industry voicing Young Nala in Disney's The Lion King musical. She went on to compete in the 2012 season of The X-Factor (with Britney Spears as her mentor) and eventually finished in fifth place in the competition. White has released numerous singles over the course of her career, and in 2020, she released her debut album, Tomorrow.
White took on the role of B&B's Paris in 2020. Her other screen credits include Empire, Dear White People, and The Haunted Hathaways, while her voice credits include shows such as Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Pinky Malinky, The Lion Guard, Transformers: Rescue Bots, and Phineas and Ferb.
The Daytime Emmy Awards are scheduled to air on CBS this Friday, June 25, at 8PM and will also be available for streaming at the same time on Paramount+.
