Days of our Lives' Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) has been moonlighting. The actress has booked a gig on the CBS primetime sitcom The Crazy Ones.
"Ok here's why I was doing the happy dance last week," Lilley shared on Twitter. "I booked the new Robin Williams comedy for CBS, The Crazy Ones."
The actress, who got to show a quirky side as General Hospital's Maxie Jones, will play the role of Claire, a woman who happens to be sleeping with one of the main characters. Lilley has already taped one episode of the series, and there is a possibility that the role could be recurring.
The Crazy Ones marked the return of Robin Williams to network television. The sitcom premiered on September 26 and drew an opening audience of 15.52 million viewers. Williams, who won an Academy Award in 1998 as Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Good Will Hunting, previously starred as Mork in Mork & Mindy.
Of series star Robin Williams, Lilley told Soapdom, "[H]e is one of the nicest guys to meet. He is real down to earth, very personable, and he said I'm good. Can you ask for more?"
The Crazy Ones also costars All My Children alum Sarah Michelle Gellar (ex-Kendall Hart).
Look for Lilley's episode to air October 10 at 9pm ET/8pm CT on CBS.
