Days of our Lives' Marci Miller has made quite a splash as the new Abigail Deveraux, and she's now set to impress on the silver screen.
The Indiana native is one of the stars of Anne Hamilton's directorial debut film, American Fable, which follows the mind of an imaginative 11-year-old girl named Gitty (Peyton Kennedy) who dreams up a dark world of fairytale creatures after discovering her father is hiding a wealthy man in the family's silo in order to save their struggling farm.
As the little girl contemplates over choosing to keep quiet or saving the man's life, her "internal fantasy comes alive among the fields of corn and countryside as a horned horseman looms upon her and her dreams darken as she dons horns herself," states The Hollywood Reporter. "As the family's livelihood is at stake in exchange for the life of another's, Gitty receives the scary story she asked for while pleading for a happy ending."
Marci Miller plays the role of Sarah alongside additional cast members Gavin MacIntosh, Kip Pardue, Zuleikha Robinson, Richard Schiff and Rusty Schwimmer.
American Fable, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in March 2016, is set to hit theaters via IFC Midnight on Friday, February 17.
Miller tweeted about the release of the film's trailer, which you can check out here.
