It looks like 80s soap opera icon Morgan Fairchild is about to make a triumphant return to the daytime world.
The actress -- known for her roles as Falcon Crest's Jordan Roberts, Flamingo Road's Constance Carlyle, General Hospital and The City's Sydney Chase, and The Bold and the Beautiful's Dorothy -- has signed on to Days of our Lives.
Fairchild confirms that she will be joining DAYS this summer as Anjelica Deveraux, who shares son Alexander with Justin (Wally Kurth).
"I was thrilled to get to work with great folks like Deidre Hall [Marlena Evans] and Judi Evans [Adrienne Kiriakis] on an iconic show like Days of our Lives," she says. "What a joy and what fun to come into work each day!"
In addition to her previously mentioned soap work, Fairchild has starred on a variety of television shows, including Search For Tomorrow, Mork & Mindy, Paper Dolls, North and South, Cybill, Friends, and Fashion House.
