Emmy-nominated actor Billy Flynn made his final appearance as Days of our Lives' Chad DiMera this week, and rumors are already starting to swirl that he's perhaps headed to another soap opera.
Flynn has been playing his front-burner DAYS role since 2014 and has turned quite a lot of heads with his talented portrayal of E.J.'s brother. So much so that the 33-year-old actor has earned two Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the Outstanding Lead Actor category. DAYS fans are understandably upset to be losing such a skilled performer from the canvas. One of those fans, however, questioned whether or not Flynn is heading to The Young and the Restless.
Upon seeing the fan question, Flynn responded with a cryptic tease that mentions his former DAYS costar Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Dario Hernandez), who now plays Detective Rey Rosales on Y&R.
"Well that could be interesting, ay Jordi Vilasuso?" he wrote in response to the fan's question about whether or not he'll be joining Y&R, to which the Cuban actor responded, "Very..."

And while sometimes a tweet is just a tweet, this is the sort of tweet that gets Soap Twitter totally worked up.
Though nothing official has been released regarding Flynn's possible switch to Y&R, the exchange between the daytime hunks has fans buzzing. Y&R is currently going through quite a bit of casting changes under the CBS soap's new writer, Josh Griffith. Several casting calls have gone out in recent weeks, including one for an edgy rock n' roll singer and one that sounds a lot like an Adam Newman recast. Could Flynn be under consideration for one of those roles or another incoming Genoa City character that hasn't been revealed yet? Keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come.
