Daytime alum Kyle Lowder (ex-Rex Brady, Days of our Lives; ex-Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) has a new movie coming out just in time for Halloween, and it's truly to die for. Titled The Amityville Harvest, the chilling film is a continuation of the super popular and classic The Amityville Horror franchise.
The extremely creepy horror tale follows a visit to a crumbling mansion that becomes a journey into sheer terror. Says the official description, "While staying at an aging manor to research its liquor-smuggling history, Christina [Sadie Katz] and her documentary video team interview their spooky host Vincent [Lowder] -- but no one can capture his image or voice on video! After shocking dreams and bloody encounters, the crew members fall under Victor's hypnotic spell. Can Christina and her sister stave off Victor's dark magic and survive Amityville's deadly harvest?"
Lowder posted a teaser trailer of The Amityville Harvest on Twitter, and, well, let's just say we're not in Kansas Salem anymore.

The Amityville Harvest is set to be released on DVD, digital, and On Demand on Tuesday, October 20th. Check out the extended teaser trailer below and let us know what you think in the Comments section at the end of the article.
Lowder took on the character of DAYS' Rex in 2018 after a thirteen-year absence from the series (he previously played the role of Brady Black, which was taken over by Eric Martsolf in 2008). Unfortunately, Rex didn't take off with most fans, and Lowder was let go from the show in 2019 -- though he did return briefly earlier this year. Lowder also starred on The Bold and the Beautiful, where he played the character of Rick Forrester from 2007 to 2011.
What are your thoughts on the casting and premise of The Amityville Harvest? Would you like to see DAYS bring Rex back to the canvas again?
