Soap star Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera, Days of our Lives) and his wife, Gina Comparetto, just made a groovy announcement: they are expecting a baby!
Comparetto shared the exciting news on social media along with nearly two dozen 60s-inspired photos that show off her baby bump and the couple's enthusiasm about the next chapter of their lives.
"First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby," reads part one of a three-part post on Comparetto's Instagram page. "Thank you to my dear, talented friend @jessieco_photo for taking these beautiful photos of us. We will cherish them forever and we love you!"
Comparetto also thanked celebrity makeup artist Make Up Mary Ann for her hair and makeup work, writing, "Thank you for the gorgeous, 60s-inspired hair & makeup that you did! You're truly the best!"
Part two of the pregnancy announcement post shows the couple in their bathroom, where Flynn is brushing his teeth and shaving while Comparetto reads from the book What to Expect When You're Expecting.
Meanwhile, part three of Comparetto's post shows the couple sharing tender moments on a swing set. "Party of 3," reads the caption, which also includes a heart emoji.
Some of Flynn's DAYS colleagues chimed in with their well wishes for the happy couple. Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan) shared, "Oh my gosh! Yay! Congrats! Kids are the best thing ever." Sal Stowers (Lani Price) wrote, "This makes my heart so happy! Congratulations you two." And Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) commented, "Beautiful shots. Cheers kids."
Flynn and Comparetto got married on October 1, 2016, and they seem to love each other more and more each day. On the couple's recent fifth wedding anniversary, Comparetto told Flynn via social media that she was "so grateful" for him and their life together, which she said, "just keeps getting better." In response, Flynn wrote, "I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow."
