The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced that this year's Daytime Emmys ceremony will be held Friday, December 15.
Originally slated to be held in June, but postponed due to the writers and actors' strikes, the ceremony will be hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner and held at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
The Emmy ceremony will air live at 9pm Eastern (8pm Central) on CBS for the East Coast. A taped version of the show will air later for the West Coast at 9pm.
This year's ceremony is slated to be the 17th time that CBS broadcasts the Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other network.
In addition to finding out the winners in each of the categories, this year's Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to All My Children icon Susan Lucci.
