General Hospital fans won't have to worry about seeing Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) exiting the show any time soon. The actress has announced that she recently signed a new, long-term contract with the ABC soap.
"By the way, I have happily re-signed with ABC for four more years!" Grahn exclaimed on her personal Twitter page.
Grahn joined the cast of General Hospital in 1996. In that time, she has tallied four Daytime Emmy nominations. In 2000, she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress. In 2003, 2004, and 2005, she was up for the Lead Actress award.
Prior to dropping in on the residents of Port Charles, Grahn enjoyed an eight-year run as Julia Wainwright Capwell on Santa Barbara. Her work on the now-cancelled series earned her an Outstanding Supporting Actress trophy at the Daytime Emmys in 1989. In the early 1980s, Grahn appeared as Beverly Wilkes on One Life to Live.
