Former General Hospital star Ricky Martin (ex-Miguel Morez) is living the good life. In addition to starring in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime, which premieres on FX on Wednesday, January 17, the singer has announced he that has married his partner, Jwan Yosef.
"I'm a husband!" he revealed to E! Entertainment. "We're doing a heavy party in a couple of months. I'll let you know."
The Latino sensation shares that although no formal occasion has taken place yet, he and Yosef have done quite a bit to prep for their special day.
"We exchanged vows, and we've swear [sic] everything," he says. "And we've signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything."
But the best part, Martin gushes, is finally being able to call Yosef, whom he met in the art world, his hubby. "It feels amazing! I can't introduce him as my fiancé. I can't. He's my husband," the singer says. "He's my man."
The pair began dating in 2016, and Martin used an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show in November of that same year to announce that he and Yosef were engaged. Martin also shared the story of his proposal, explaining that he was "really nervous" when he got down on his knees and pulled out the velvet pouch containing the rings.
"Instead of saying, 'Will you marry me," I said, 'I got you something!'' he recalls with a laugh. "[But] it was very beautiful."
The newlyweds gave Architectural Digest a tour of their new Los Angeles home. You can check out the video below.
