Some would say it was love at first sight when General Hospital's Michael (Chad Duell) suddenly developed the hots for nurse Francesca. But eagle-eyed fans of the ABC soap opera may sing a different tune. After all, the new character's portrayer, Celesta DeAstis, has been in Port Charles a couple of times before.
The Chicago native appeared earlier this year as a Metro Court bartender, and she also had a brief appearance as Imaginary Avery during the soap's standalone All About Ava special that aired in January. Considering the actress' prior Port Charles appearances, perhaps Michael took one look at Francesca and had an "I know this woman from my past" flash that made him fall hard and fast.
Twenty-four-year-old DeAstis has several credits to her name, including appearances on LA to Vegas, How to Get Away with Murder, The Goldbergs, and the soap-connected project Ladies of the Lake.
