The Young Artist Awards were established in 1978 and honor young talent in film and television. Weaver joins some impressive company: in recent years, GH actors Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma Drake) and Joey Luthman (young Luke Spencer) have also received nominations. This year, Weaver's competition in the Recurring Young Actor category includes Tyler Mazzei from Outcast, Kai Wener from The Orville, and Keith L. Williams from The Last Man on Earth.
The 39th Annual Young Artist Awards will be held on Saturday, July 14. For a complete list of nominees, click here.
