General Hospital's Cameron Webber has been recast just in time for back-to-school shenanigans to begin.
Actor William Lipton has taken over the role of Elizabeth's son and shared on social media that he's "so thrilled" to be part of the cast of the ABC soap opera.
The young actor has replaced Cade McWatt, who was brought on earlier this summer in an attempt to bring the character to the same age as Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt).
Lipton doesn't have many credits to his name -- two short films and a movie called The Adventures of Thomasina Sawyer -- but viewers can get a sense of his talents via his Instagram page. He has posted several videos of himself singing and the playing the guitar.
Lipton has also released some singles titled "Aurora," "Get Up," "Nervous," and "Cameo," all available on iTunes and Spotify.
Time will tell whether or not GH plans to feature Lipton's musical talents in future episodes (Nurses Ball, anyone?), but it could serve Cameron well. After all, what better way to win Josslyn's heart than performing a love song?
