Former soap opera star Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily Quartermaine, General Hospital; ex-Taylor Walker, Days of our Lives) and her husband Matt Aldag are celebrating the birth of their first child, a healthy and beautiful baby girl.
The actress took to Instagram to share some photos of her new bundle of joy, along with the caption: "Today our lives were graced by the arrival of our beautiful little girl Colette Allegria Ginny-Martita Aldag. Happy tears are flowing. Little feet are swaddling. Hearts are bursting!"
Livingston and her husband were married in September 2016, so little Colette's arrival coincides perfectly with their two-year wedding anniversary. And just before the baby's arrival, Livingston shared that decorating the nursery with Matt was the perfect way to celebrate the special date.
"It takes a real man to wear a pink baby hat while hanging a little yellow chicken on the wall. I can't think of a better way to spend our two year wedding anniversary than getting ready for our little girl," she shared. "Grateful for each and every day with my amazing husband Matt who fills our life together with so much joy, laughter, and love!"
Even though Livingston expected her daughter in September, she stayed busy pretty much up until the very moment Colette arrived. Soap Central spoke with the actress earlier this summer about her documentary film In Their Shoes, which she helped produce and is currently raising funds for. During the conversation about the hard-hitting film that follows recovering drug addicts, the actress shared that she was in the midst of remodeling her house.
"God knows what motivated me to do this right now!" she said with a laugh. "Everything we own is in boxes right now, even all of my baby stuff and baby registry things and the beautiful things that friends have gifted me. Everything is still in boxes in our basement, which is where we're living until we can move upstairs."
Here's hoping she and her husband were able to get everything settled in time for little Colette's arrival! In any case, she and her budding family look happy, healthy, and ready for the new chapter ahead.
