General Hospital's Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is bringing a lot of horror to Port Charles, and one of the most horrific things might be the end of Laura and Kevin's relationship.
Laura's portrayer, Genie Francis, answered fans' questions via a Facebook Live chat this week, and she shared that once the shocking truth is revealed that Ryan has been impersonating Kevin this whole time, Laura's life will never be the same.
"I think first of all, there will be this tremendous relief and understanding of what's been wrong, and a shock, obviously," Francis opines. "And then, ultimately, a little later on, I think she'll be hurt that [Kevin] was capable of keeping something from her."
That means that even if Laura manages to make it through Ryan's reign of terror, she won't exactly be left unscathed. In fact, she might come out swinging, with her punches aimed at Kevin for hiding Ryan all this time.
"[She could feel] angry, I don't know. Trust is hard for her. She wants to know you are who you are," Francis says, adding that the Laura of 2018 is much more formidable than the character has been in the past. "She's a survivor. She's incredibly strong, and she [won't] be taking any crap!"
