Fans of General Hospital were given quite the treat when Ava Jerome (Maura West) recently hosted an art show at her gallery, an occasion she used to confirm that she indeed owns the portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). A lot of action happened during the art gallery scenes, including the reappearance of Nikolas (Marcus Coloma), but what happened behind the scenes was just as exciting.
In a video posted on social media, the ABC soap opera's production designer, Jennifer Elliott, shows how the GH team put Ava's art gallery event together, which she says was "no small feat."
As can be seen in the clip, all of the art pieces seen in the Jerome Gallery are originals that were created just for Ava's special occasion. Check out the behind-the-scenes clip below and let us know what you think about what the GH crew does to bring viewers the magic they see on their television screens each day.
