General Hospital's Haley Pullos (Molly Lansing-Davis) has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor is the wake of a car accident earlier this year that left another driver seriously injured.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has charged Pullos with "one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC [blood alcohol content] or higher, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run."
Pullos has entered a plea of not guilty.
As Soap Central first reported in May, Pullos was arrested after the vehicle she was driving swerved and flew over a dividing barrier and into oncoming traffic on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena. Officers investigating the crash found marijuana edibles and mini bottles of tequila in Pullos' car. Police claimed that Pullos showed signs of intoxication. She was subsequently arrested at the hospital after receiving treatment.
Pullos is also being sued by the passenger of the car that she plowed into. Courtney Wilder claims that the car he was traveling behind on the freeway swerved slightly to avoid Pullos' car that was driving the wrong way on a freeway offramp. As a result, he "didn't have time to react when he saw headlights [of Pullos' car] coming his way" and as a result crashed head-on into Pullos. Wilder states that Pullos should had stopped driving earlier that night when she was involved in a hit-and-run accident.
Wilder was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and the extent of his injuries was not detailed. The car Wilder was driving was also totaled. He is suing Pullos for damages.
Prior to the details of the car crash becoming public, Pullos made a social media post stating that she "was involved in an automobile accident" and needed "a little time to recover."
Pullos has been on leave from GH since the accident, and the show has tapped Holiday Mia Kriegel to play Molly.
Pullos' reps had no comment.
