Actress, writer, and producer Lauren Swickard will be making her daytime debut this week on General Hospital. If her name seems familiar, it should! Swickard's husband -- Josh Swickard -- has been playing the role of Detective Harrison Chase for the past five years on GH.
Despite her having 50 acting credits to her name, Josh Swickard said that he was more nervous about his wife's scenes than she was.
"I was more nervous than Lauren was, just because I know what a weird beast it is (to shoot a soap opera), Josh Swickard told the magazine. "Most of her work has been feature film stuff. But I was completely blown away by how calm and composed she was. I was like, 'That was not how I was on my first day.'"
Look for Lauren Swickard to make her debut as Janice, a nurse at Ferncliff, starting August 7.
