One Life to Live's David Gregory (ex-Robert Ford) is blindingly happy to announce Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew Buchanan) has signed on to his Western audio drama Powder Burns.

Time to literally listen up, One Life to Live fans: David Gregory (ex-Robert Ford) has been toiling away at producing a Western audio drama called Powder Burns, and his former Llanview cohort Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew Buchanan) has signed on to the project.

The award-winning audio drama centers on a blind sheriff named Emmett Burns, played by former OLTL star John Wesley Shipp (ex-Eddie Ford), who's also known for his roles on The Flash and Dawson's Creek. There's no word yet on which character Alderson will play, but it's bound to be good. In Powder Burns, the audience "sees" the West exactly as Sheriff Burns does: without sight -- which is a novel concept that perfectly fits to an audio podcast.

And speaking of not being able to see, it's too bad Burns is blind because we're pretty sure he'd be thrilled to get a glance at the photo Gregory posted with the news of Alderson coming on board.

Alderson starred on OLTL as Bo and Nora's son Matthew from 2004 to 2012. News broke that he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in November of 2016, and he has been bravely battling the disease since. This marks his first project since departing the soap world six years ago.

Gregory starred on the ABC soap opera from 2009 to 2012. He later went on to appear in shows like Gossip Girl, Deception, and Youthful Daze.

Powder Burns is about to release its season finale episode. For more information on the audio drama that also stars Florencia Lozano (ex-Téa Delgado, OLTL) and Lance Roberts (ex-Bruce Koe, Knots Landing), check out the official Powder Burns website.
