There's some major buzz about the possibility of One Life to Live being rebooted, but until that day comes, the stars of the defunct soap need to stay busy. One who's doing so is Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston Wilde), who is happy to share that she's the star of an upcoming film titled Off the Grid.
The actress took to Instagram with a few details about her new movie, which was written by Michael Shear. She says she's super grateful to be starring in the intense thriller that follows her and actor Taylor Frey as a couple that spends a weekend at a home that's completely off the grid -- no roads, no Internet, nothing.
"So much love for everyone on this film," she wrote during the film's wrap party earlier this month. "Still on cloud nine from the shoot and working with such incredible talents and good solid peeps."
Off the Grid, which also stars Kabby Borders and Jim Klock, is set for a theatrical release in 2021.
Brittany Underwood played the role of OLTL's Langston from 2006 to 2012 and later went on to star in Hollywood Heights. Some of her other acting credits include 2nd Chance for Christmas, Major Crimes, The Goldbergs, Youthful Daze, and The Bay.
Off the Grid isn't the only film that Underwood has been working on lately. She also teased that she recently began shooting a film with her former OLTL costar Camila Banus (ex-Lola Montez; Gabi Hernandez, Days of our Lives). "10 years ago we played cousins on #onelifetolive and now we get to work with each other again and I'm so happy about it!" Underwood wrote. "Day 1 went great. Gurrlll we gonna have fuuuunnn."
Additional details about that film have yet to be revealed, so keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come!
