Get ready to do a little happy dance, because Netflix is making soap fans' summer dreams come true.
The movie streaming company is adding To the Beat to its film offerings, which is a pretty big deal because the teen dance flick was directed by former Days of our Lives star Jillian Clare (ex-Abigail Deveraux) and stars Eric Martsolf (Brady Black, DAYS), Martha Madison (Belle Black, DAYS), Marie Wilson (ex-Summer Townsend, DAYS; ex-Meg Snyder, As the World Turns), and Lilly Melgar (ex-Lily Corinthos, General Hospital; ex-Claudia Cortez, The Bold and the Beautiful).
"I directed this wonderful, heart filled, teen dance film in 2017 and now it's headed to Netflix on August 7th!" Clare shared on Twitter. "We had a small crew, a small budget, and a HUGE incredibly talented cast. Beyond grateful. Mark your calendars, friends!"

To the Beat follows two 14-year-old twin sisters who enter a contest to be dancers in their favorite pop stars' music video. Too bad their next-door-neighbor and rival wants to be the winner, as well!

Wilson plays Camila, the gentle, widowed mother of the twins; Melgar plays the siblings' fashion-obsessed aunt; and Martsolf and Madison play the spoiled neighbor girl's parents -- who are both flamboyant in their own ways.
