Teresa Blake joined the cast of All My Children in October, 1991.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she launched her career after winning a contest for a suntan lotion company.
That contest led to a succession of modeling jobs. Following high school, she moved to Miami where she continued to model and also began her acting career.
While in Florida, Teresa guest-starred in several television series, including "Miami Vice," and "B.L. Stryker" with Burt Reynolds, whom she refers to as "the kindest, most gentle man I've ever worked with."
She later moved to Los Angeles, where she co-starred in the television movie,
"Prize Pulitzer." Her theatrical movie credits include roles in the films,
"Revenge of the Nerds," "Payback," "Had to Be You," and the James Bond
thriller, "License to Kill."
Teresa moved to New York, her first time in the Big Apple, when she landed the role on "All My Children."
While in New York, she has starred in a short film, directed by Conal O'Brian, titled "The Secret." She also starred in another short film, directed by Joe Plonsky, titled "Holy Mr. Hurbert." Both are up for awards in their field.
Her many interests include karate, all types of dancing and music. She also enjoys learning new languages. While in Los Angeles, she learned sign language from hearing-impaired friends and hopes to become proficient at it.
