Get ready for some lights, camera, and action on The Young and the Restless because the CBS Daytime soap is on the hunt for an actor to take on the role of a sexy photographer.
Daytime's number one soap has put out a casting call for a hunky African American actor in his early 30s to play the role of Ryder, Soap Opera Digest reports. Ryder is said to be a "gifted photographer with swagger."
The show is reportedly searching for an actor who is a minimum of six feet tall for the recurring role set to begin taping in early January.
The description is reminiscent of another hunky photographer from Y&R's past -- Malcolm Winters.
