Many The Young and the Restless fans made no secret about how thrilled they were when Beth Maitland returned to the CBS soap in the role of Traci Abbott over the holidays, so they'll no doubt be happy to hear they'll be seeing more of her -- albeit on a different CBS series.
The South Dakota native will be appearing on Criminal Minds as Eleanor Parsons in an episode titled "Surface Tension." The story centers around a strange hieroglyph found under a deceased homeless man's armpit that links to previous casualties years ago. Glee's Jane Lynch also guest stars as Diana Reid, the mother of Matthew Gray Gubler's Dr. Spencer Reid.
Watch for Maitland's episode of Criminal Minds on Wednesday, February 1, at 9PM ET on CBS.
