Big things are happening for The Young and the Restless alum Sofia Pernas (ex-Marisa Sierras). Shortly after the actress wrapped her three-episode stint on Jane the Virgin, she announced that she's been cast on NBC's new military drama For God and Country.

According to Deadline, For God And Country gives viewers a "heart-pounding look into the complex world of our bravest military heroes who make personal sacrifices while executing the most challenging and dangerous missions behind enemy lines."
Pernas is set to play Hannah Archer, a member of a team of analysts at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
