A big secret was revealed on today's episode of The Young and the Restless. Viewers were shocked to see the surprise return of Tamara Clatterbuck in the role of Cassie's adoptive mother, Alice Johnson.
The character took both viewers and Nick (Joshua Morrow) by surprise when she unexpectedly walked into the Underground -- and that's just the start of the whirlwind trip ahead for the character who first debuted on the soap back in 1998.
As for returning unnoticed by most people in the business, Clatterback enthuses to Soap Opera Digest: "It's such a great feeling! I couldn't tell anyone I was coming back. Everything was so top secret."
Fans who want to know the super shocking reason the character has resurfaced in Genoa City will have to tune in to the Wednesday, August 30, episode; Alice will reveal her motives for being back on the canvas, and it's safe to say her being back will bring summer to a close with a bang!
