The Young and the Restless star has taken to social media to pay tribute to a very special man in her life -- her stepfather, who recently passed away.
"We are all lucky if we find a love like this," she said next to a photo of her mother and stepfather. " If you do... hold it. Take care of it. I am so lucky and blessed to have had this beautiful man in my life since I was 12."
Stafford, who has played Phyllis Summers on Y&R off and on since 1994, also posted beautiful words about the man who helped raise her above the loving photo. She described what she saw during his last days.
"I was a witness to some profound moments of love recently between my mom and stepfather that will be seared into my being for all eternity," she wrote. "My gorgeous Joe. You fought a valiant fight right to your very last breath. Me, my sister, our kids, and out mother are better for having known you. No words can express the love I feel. Rest with the angels. Until we meet again."
