Jessica decided to face the press and admitted that she was taking Marshall to court with a charge of rape. After she allowed the press to use her name in their stories, Ben escorted her home then ran to read the letter from Marshall. Though Isaac claimed Jessica was lying about what had happened the night she said she had been attacked, Ben wouldn't hear it and burned Marshall's letter. When Jessica heard a noise at her place, she grabbed a gun and almost shot Bonnie.

Rosanna denied to Craig and Carly that she had offered Barbara a job and insisted that she had simply asked Barbara to create a few designs to "shadow" Carly. Tired of arguing about Monte Carly, Rosanna suggested to Craig that they get rid of the company then slip out of town to tie the knot. Craig insisted he couldn't abandon Carly and her dream of being a fashion designer. Later, Barbara offered a thousand-dollar bet to Craig that Carly wouldn't have her designs in time, but Craig wouldn't bite.

Claiming that time was running out for both of them, Molly asked Mike to marry her as soon as possible. Mike wouldn't do it and explained that he was not in a position to devote himself entirely to her. Molly was quick to blame Carly for his refusal and ended things with him. Mike later let Carly know that he and Molly were history. Later, running into Rosanna at the Java Underground, Molly and Rosanna tried to drink their frustration away and ended up thinking up ways to get even with Carly.

When Margo's suggestion that Katie move in with Margo and Tom fell on deaf ears, Margo escorted Katie home after her release from the hospital. Hearing a noise in another part of the cottage, Katie was greatly disappointed to find Henry there, not Simon. Katie opened up to Chris about the miserable state of her life. Henry agreed to move in with Katie while Katie considered Chris's suggestion of being a nurses aide.

Isaac infuriated Bonnie when he admitted that he'd retrieved Marshall's letter from the garbage and told Ben about it. Ben hinted to Jessica that she might not win her court case because of a lack of evidence. She quickly got him to confirm that he believed and supported her action against Marshall. Handing the handgun he'd found at Jessica's to Isaac for safekeeping, Ben assured Bonnie that he would be there for her mother.

Finding he was riding the same elevator as Jessica, Marshall stopped the car and pleaded with her to drop the charges against him. She refused and once on her floor, vowed to see him in court.

Paul offered Rose some advice on how to swing a loan for her new business, but she was not interested. When Paul complained to his best friend, Dusty convinced Paul to let him act as Rose's mentor. When Rose's appeal to a bank loan officer fell flat, she agreed to talk with Dusty, who had heard from Barbara that she'd pay anything to rid Rose from her son's life.

Running into Aaron, Emily tried to blame him for Alison's troubles but backed down when he pointed out how many people had been hurt by Alison's mistakes. Hal was astounded to hear Alison claim that she shouldn't be sent to prison for burning down the Snyder barn because she had simply been trying to help Aaron. He urged her to have some feelings of regret for what she had done but failed to get through to her.

Tom arrived with the news that Evelyn had offered a deal that would require Alison to spend six months in prison. When Alison panicked at the thought, Tom reminded her that her confession to arson carried a minimum sentence of five years. When Alison ran out, Hal urged Emily to stop babying her and start treating her like an adult. Aaron tried to comfort her, which pleased Emily.

Though Dusty agreed that her business proposal was a bad one, he convinced Rose to make some revisions to try to secure a new business loan. He also offered to finance her business if the banks turned her down again. Upset that she was accepting of Dusty's help but not his, Paul asked to see her new proposal.

Inviting Craig to meet for dinner, Rosanna guessed he had a meeting with Carly. He lied then rushed to Carly's hospital bed, where he found Jack had just left. She asked for permission to tell Jack about her work for Monte Carlo, but he wouldn't allow it. She convinced Craig to prove his love and set a wedding date with Rosanna.

While Craig was gone, Rosanna met with Barbara, who sensed she and Craig had just argued about Carly. Admitting she wanted to see Carly lose Monte Carlo, Molly liked the idea when Rosanna talked about using Barbara's designs. Surprising her with matching beepers to use when she needed him, Jack kissed Carly.

Emily talked to Alison about how dangerous prison could be if a person didn't do as she was told. Panicking, Alison used some vegetable shortening to slip her home monitor bracelet off her ankle. But as she raced out of the house, she ran into Chris, who convinced her to stay and accept Evelyn's deal.

Rosanna was caught off guard when Craig asked her to marry him that night. He admitted that he hadn't been concentrating on her due to everything else in his life but promised to make it up to her. They agreed to marry in two weeks. When he promised to meet her later after a stop by the office, Rosanna realized he was going to see Carly and decided to place a call to Monte Carlo's designer.

An anxious Barbara reminded Dusty that he needed to work fast to end Paul and Rose's engagement, since they had plans to tie the knot in May. When Molly entered the bar, Dusty quickly took a seat and downplayed his conversation with Barbara. Flirting seductively, Molly invited Dusty to her room, where they made love.

Rose paid Carly a visit and showed off her engagement ring. When Carly admitted that she was suffering from a creative block, Rose reassured her that she'd get past it. Just then, Rosanna called with a reminder that if Carly couldn't create some designs, Rosanna would use Barbara's. Craig stopped by and urged Carly to get to work.

When Mitzi let Rose know the landlord needed the signed lease and money for the beauty parlor by the next day or else she'd lose it, Rose tried to call Dusty but couldn't reach him.

Aaron helped Lucy take her first step, and after Rosanna mentioned her upcoming wedding, Lucy vowed to walk down the aisle.

Emily approached Lucy and Aaron and urged them to say goodbye to Alison before she was sent to "the place." Lucy wanted nothing to do with her, but eventually, Emily convinced them to meet with Alison just to show her they would always be a couple and that Alison had no chance of wooing Aaron. At Hal and Emily's place, Lucy and Aaron wished Alison well, but Lucy advised Alison that they could never be friends again.

Craig was furious when Rosanna confirmed that she had hired Barbara to create some designs for Monte Carlo. Rosanna argued that she was working with Barbara in case Carly was unable to make the designs needed for the next show. Craig countered that if Barbara ended up doing any work for Monte Carlo, he was resigning, but he assured her that he was not giving up on them.

Mike stopped by Carly's hospital room to offer his help moving her to the Snyder farm, but she asked him to back off. Craig stopped by after his argument with Rosanna and again pushed Carly to finish her designs. Jack was upset when he figured out that Carly had lied to him and was still working for Craig.

After making love, Molly and Dusty were interrupted when Rose advised Dusty that she needed to pay the landlord within 24 hours, or she'd lose the perfect spot for her beauty parlor. Later, giving her the money she needed, Dusty insisted that they be partners in her venture. He then advised Barbara that he was going to need more money for their plan.

Molly hinted to Mike about her night of passion.
