Amber calls Taylor from jail, and Taylor rushes over without telling Ridge where she's going. Amber is relieved that Taylor believes her version of what happened. Amber doesn't think it's a coincidence that Erica's apartment is in the same building as Lance's. Amber suspects that she was getting too close to the truth and someone threw the rock at her as a warning. Erica suggests that Amber threw the rock through her window to get back at her for spending so much time with Rick. Rick is surprised that Erica is glad her mother left, but Erica explains that she was very controlling. Erica can't imagine what kind of mother dumps her child, and she dissolves into tears. Rick comforts Erica, and gives her a kiss. Massimo and Sheila relax over drinks, but Sheila doesn't reveal her name. Massimo suggests that Sheila spend the night with him. At Massimo's penthouse, they head for the bedroom, and Sheila warns Massimo that he doesn't know what he's getting into. Massimo assures Sheila that she's met her match. Rick informs Taylor that he'll talk to Amber when she's ready to tell the truth even though Taylor believes Amber's version of events.
At Massimo's apartment, he and Sheila awoke from an evening of love making. He suspected that the reason Sheila was planning to run from LA was not only for her daughter's sake.
Rick visited Amber in jail. He did not believe anything Amber had to say about her arrest. Rick refused to believe that Erica had anything to do with what happened to Amber. Rick walked out as Amber desperately tried to talk to him.
Erica told Little Eric that she is sad about her mother leaving town. She also told him that she believes that her future is with the Forrester family. Erica was shocked to see Sheila's photograph in the Forrester family photo album.
Due to the remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, all daytime dramas were preempted today. Programming will resume on Thursday, September 12th where Tuesday's shows concluded.
Erica remained in shock as she looked at the photograph of her mother in the Forrester family photo album. Erica was secretly horrified when Rick told her that the woman in the picture is Sheila, Eric's ex-wife, and the biggest mistake that Eric ever made.
Meanwhile, Sheila refused to tell Massimo her name. Massimo grabbed Sheila's cell phone and refused to give it back until he heard someone on it. Erica telephoned Sheila and demanded that they meet.
Brooke, Bridget and Stephanie met for lunch in Brooke's office. Brooke managed to convince an unwilling Bridget to stay. Bridget suggested that Brooke name her baby "Hope."
Sheila met Erica in her apartment. Erica told Sheila that she was very angry because she had learned that Sheila had been lying to her. Erica showed Sheila the photograph that included Sheila in the photo. Sheila tried to deny that it was her in the photo. Erica demanded that Sheila tell her the truth about Eric Forrester.
Erica wants to know why Sheila never told her that she was married to Eric Forrester. She realizes that Sheila still loves Eric and she's been pushing Erica at Rick as a way to get close to Eric again. Sheila insists that everything that's happening was meant to be. Erica warns Sheila that she can't leave town until Sheila explains what's really going on. Sheila insists that Erica will have the life she deserves once she's gone, the kind of life only Rick Forrester can give her. Erica asks Sheila what she did to Amber. C.J. cuts Sally off when she tries to talk to him about Bridget. He's unhappy when he hears about Bridget's visit with Brooke, certain that it's only a matter of time before she goes back to Forrester and her trust fund. Bridget assures C.J. that they are friends, and tries to figure out where his anger is coming from. She insists that she's not leaving him and refuses to let him push her away. C.J. gives her a romantic kiss. Sally admits to Clarke that she's afraid that C.J. is deliberately sabotaging himself so he won't get too close to Bridget. She urges Clarke to talk to him.
