Reva and Billy set out to elope in Las Vegas. When they arrived at the casino, Reva had a momentary fainting-like spell. She tried to let Billy get out of the marriage, but Billy suggested they let lady luck show them what they should do. They went to a blackjack table and decided that if the first card turned up was black, they would not marry. If the card turned up was red, they would. The card was red, and they agreed they would marry. Billy promised Reva that he would let her lean on him, make her laugh, and let her cry when it was needed because she would feel better after she did. On their way to get married, they played the slots and hit the jackpot.
At the farmhouse, Cassie was trying to find information on Reva's medication via the Internet. Josh stopped her and insisted they take advantage of a romantic night with the storm moving in. They discussed their anticipation at what the night would bring them. They both realized it would be the first time they made love. Josh turned out the lights, and they lit candles, making the decision that it was the night. Information on Reva's medication was on the computer screen, but they did not see it. They proclaimed that their time leading up to that night had not been wasted. They headed toward love-making.
Alan caught Jonathan and Tammy kissing and photographed them. Alan thought he had them. Jon immediately began berating Tammy for stalking him. He yelled that she needed to realize he was a married man, and she needed to let go of the past. Tammy said that kissing Jon made her certain that it was all over between them, although she looked devastated. Remy showed up to take Tammy away. Alan started looking as though he was convinced that Tammy and Jon were really over. However, he later stumbled upon Lizzie and Jon as Jon was trying to plan reuniting with Tammy that evening. Forced by Alan's intruding hand, he agreed to let Alan take him and Lizzie back to the penthouse together.
Meanwhile, Remy had taken Tammy home. She decided she needed to move on and celebrate her award. She and Remy left to celebrate together. An angry Jon tried to contact Tammy but couldn't, as she'd left her cell phone in her room. He became violent in the penthouse and began tearing it apart as a stunned Lizzie looked on.
At the Beacon, Olivia confronted the "hitman," telling him she had wanted Ava scared, not dead. He said it was too late and that Olivia had better pay him what she owed him. Frank overheard the commotion in the room and demanded Olivia open the door. When the "hitman" left, Olivia let Frank in. He took her to Emma to show Olivia that her daughter was fine. When they got to Emma, Olivia said that "she looks just like her."
Frank was confused. He offered to take babysitter Jane home and left. Olivia sent Emma to bed with the promise that she'd tuck her in. Olivia began drinking heavily and crying. Ava showed up, declaring that she was not the ghost Olivia would want her to be. Olivia tried to hug Ava, but Ava wouldn't have any of it. She lashed out at Olivia, telling her that since Olivia had tried to kill her twice, she would see to it that Emma was taken away from her. Olivia tried to tell Ava that Ava was her daughter, but Ava left after saying that Olivia didn't deserve a daughter. Olivia was left alone, crying hysterically.
In Vegas, Billy ran into Gus and Harley, still in town from the Springfield Burns case, and explained that he was getting married. When Reva joined them, it was momentarily awkward, until Reva asked them to be their witnesses. While alone with Billy, Gus realized it was the real thing for Billy. While Harley helped Reva get ready, everything was fun and games until Reva slipped up and said she was ready to marry Josh. The wedding began, but Reva remembered her wedding to Josh and called it off. Billy was hurt but understood. Reva declared to a photo of Josh that he would always be her only husband -- even in death.

Rick and Mel wound up in the ER the same night, and they inched closer, but a visit from Alan asking about Beth left Rick feeling guilty. When he walked off to take a call, Mel decided to leave him a new note in his jacket -- but was stunned to find a key to the Beacon Hotel.

Super Cop Gus and Badge Woman Harley were on an undercover drug sting at Towers. Gus played the buyer. He slinked up to a busty blond in a red dress at the bar to make the exchange. Once the deal went down, Harley, playing the role of Gus's wife, stormed into the restaurant and pounded him with her purse for sneaking out to feed his habit. Once they revealed that they were working undercover, uniformed Remy and Marina arrived to cuff her.
Back at home, Gus made a hot dog dinner as Harley and the kids unpacked things in their newly built, but unfinished, home. Over dinner, Gus wanted to toast that things couldn't "get any better than this," but Harley cut off all the jinxing cliché talk. She opted to just celebrate that day's happiness. Later, Gus recounted to the kids an interactive tale of Super Cop and Badge Woman. In his tale, Super Cop saved the day by apprehending the "bad sugar" dealer, and Badge Woman helped by calling for back-up. Frank arrived to inform them that their perp from that night had implicated her husband as her supplier. He wanted the man apprehended that night. Harley called Ashlee, the D.A.'s daughter, to babysit.
Outside the door at the Clayton Arms Hotel, with gun raised, Gus was disappointed that Harley and he had to be there instead of spending time with the boys. He and Harley giggled as, on Gus' cell phone, they viewed the spy camera he had set up to watch the boys and the babysitter. The bad guy was escaping as Gus shared his anxiety that maybe he had jinxed them with the whole super couple, super life thing. They heard a window open inside the room and busted the door open. The suspect had escaped, but he'd left behind a baby girl on the bed. Harley took the adorable doll-like girl into her arms.
Gus couldn't understand what kind of father left his baby behind. Back at the station, Harley and Gus tried to entertain the baby as they waited for social services. Harley suggested "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider" -- the only children's song Gus knew. Gus hated all those creepy kid songs about spiders and bridges falling down. He thought the songs were the reason kids had issues and wound up in boarding school. Nonetheless, they sung it, and Gus horribly messed up the words as Harley sang them correctly.
Frank walked over to let them know that no one was claiming the baby. Gus was very upset that no one was concerned about the newborn. Harley informed him that she was ten months old. She offered to stay at the station with the baby until social services arrived. Gus asked her if she was going to breastfeed the baby, and Harley explained that she couldn't just turn it on and off. She ushered him out of the station to go take care of their boys.
As Gus was getting the boys ready for bed, Harley arrived at home, carrying the baby and some groceries for her. The boys were very excited and asked the child's name. When they learned she had none, Zack and Jude wanted to name her Spot. After other similar unsuitable names were suggested, Gus suggested April, which wasn't bad, even though it still got shot down. One of the boys suggested Gracie. Because there was no crib, Gracie slept between the super couple. The moment the lights went out, Gracie cried.

Still attached to the baby, Harley got Gus to arrange a goodbye. They met Sydney and her grandmother at Towers, where the grandmother praised Gus for being so protective over Sydney. Harley said a bittersweet goodbye to the baby, but she still could not take her eyes off the child as they walked away.
While back at the station, talking to Frank about what a wildcard Gus was, Harley had an epiphany about her husband. She found him on Main Street, looking over paperwork, and told him she had never realized they'd never talked about having children of their own. Gus was a little emotionally defensive but said he wasn't afraid of talking about kids. He said everything was okay as it was. He didn't have any kids of his own, and Harley thought he might just be settling. As a recovering drug addict, Gus wasn't sure she would even want to have children with him. Harley said that she didn't think that when she saw him. As much as she loved him, she had been selfish not to consider that he could want his own child. They agreed to talk about it.
Gus and Harley discussed the pros and cons of having a baby all day at work and over drinks at Towers. Harley groaned at the thought of nine months of pregnancy, and Gus cringed to imagine watching the birth. They shared a smile, dreaming of how worth it everything would be once they had their own baby.

Reva, feeling solid in her campaign to get Josh and Cassie together, thought it was time to focus on helping Jon -- only she had to deal with her own problem first. The pain had been increasing from the cancer, and she'd gotten hold of some marijuana, which she hoped would help with pain relief. Jonathan was excited at the prospect; Reva made it clear that it was for her only. As Jon rolled the joint for Reva, she started her plan to fix Jon's problems by leaving a message for Alan. Alan returned her call after her buzz kicked in, and at Beth's urging, he suggested they go out for a family dinner. Stoned, Reva agreed.
At the dinner, Jon clued in Lizzie about Reva's odd behavior. More than once, Lizzie jumped in for the rescue. However, every time Reva made a point for family unity, Alan spun it to his own advantage by calling her family unfit.
At the same time, Tammy took up Remy's invitation to join the Bauers for some family fun. Mel worried Remy was getting in too deep with Tammy. Meanwhile, Rick got a call from Beth about getting together -- but deleted it. Mel was still worried about the Beacon Hotel room keycard she'd found in Rick's pocket.
Later, both parties were at Towers. Beth used a text message to meet Rick privately at the bar. Rick told Beth their affair was over -- Mel wanted to give their marriage another shot, and he agreed. Meanwhile, Jon was irked by Tammy being with Remy. Tammy was hurt by what she perceived as Jon's new family. Tammy left, and seeing how badly Jon wanted to be with her, Reva created a distraction so Jon could sneak off, too. Alan blasted Reva for deserting her children while Tammy stunned Jon by saying she couldn't do it anymore.
Josh reassigned Cassie to work in the office, which bothered her until Josh explained that it wasn't just an office job -- he was making her full partner in the business.
