Nikki is upset that Brad didn't let her go with Ashley. Brad says that Victor and Ashley need to talk to each other alone. Nikki wonders how Brad is so calm. Neil talks to his private investigator about Kevin, but finds that no real evidence had been found. When Dru comes home Neil tells her that he will look over the paperwork with a fine-toothed comb. Dru says it's all good, Kevin is in jail and he's going to get what he paid for. Neil wonders if justice will be served considering Kevin won't be tried for what he did to Lily. Dru doesn't seem to mind as long as he goes to jail. When Dru goes upstairs, Neil notices something in the paperwork he hadn't considered before.

Kevin seems more relaxed and sits down. He mentions that he went to college for a while. Then he says that he never took a suicide course though. Gloria wonders why Kevin would say that. Kevin wonders how Gloria can still live in the same place with all the horrible memories. She says she has been able to move on. Kevin can't fathom the idea of letting go all the things that happened to him in the past. When Gloria mentions that she read a book that really helped her, he is even more upset. Kevin tells Gloria that sometimes he wishes she were dead.

Sharon goes to Nick's office in tears. She tells him that Grace accused her of killing Cameron Kirsten. Nick says that Grace had told him the same thing, but then he had escorted her out by security. Detective Weber walks in the office, and says he wants to ask more questions. He asks Nick where he was the night Cameron was killed. Nick tells him again and seems angry that he is being asked the same questions over and over again. Sharon is upset too, until Weber mentions that Nikki hadn't quite said that she was there with Sharon that night. Sharon says maybe Weber needs to ask Nikki again. Weber wants to know Sharon's relationship with Grace. Sharon begins telling the story of Grace accusing Sharon of murder. Weber seems to find Sharon's reaction amusing. Before Weber leaves, he tells the both of them that they had better not leave town.

Colleen, Sierra and Lily talk about J.T.'s L.A. trip. The girls think Colleen should go out and visit J.T. He could use her support. Sierra isn't a big fan of the idea but goes along with it. Lily makes Colleen's flight reservations and the girls head out.

In Los Angeles, J.T. and Shiloh go over his schedule. They meet with the Beach Front execs and they like him. He gets wardrobe and make-up, takes photos and cuts some samples of his songs. Later Shiloh tells him the exec loved his stuff and he is to go in to record a full single!

Paul and Lauren continue to argue at her apartment over Kevin. Lauren thinks that Paul pushed Kevin to flee town and jump bail. His hard attitude towards Kevin disturbs Lauren. Shiloh had warned J.T. not to tell the press that he had a girlfriend, because that would put off some fans. Instead, he should just say "No comment." J.T. was reluctant to go along with this idea.

On her way to L.A., Colleen called Sierra a couple of times to remind her to cover for her with her father. Brad had actually seemed to be relieved that Colleen would be spending a couple of days with Sierra, as this was a bad time to be around him and Ashley. Phyllis claimed Daniel was her son, and she had the right to see him. Christine retorted that Phyllis always made it about herself, and that was the reason she'd lost custody of Daniel. Phyllis threatened to give Christine two seconds to retract that remark.

Christine smiled and said she hoped that Phyllis was threatening her because then she could stop Phyllis from harassing anyone. She said she could have Phyllis arrested for assault and threatening an officer of the court. She encouraged Phyllis to keep pushing, but Phyllis smiled and said she found Christine hilarious. Once again, Christine told Phyllis to leave, but Phyllis refused and accused Christine of having the audacity to invite Phyllis' son to live in her apartment, when Christine had been the one responsible of robbing her of her child. Christine asked if Phyllis wanted to blame her for the atrocious deeds that Phyllis had committed that had persuaded the judge to declare her an unfit mother.

Phyllis said that had it not been for Christine, Daniel wouldn't have felt abandoned by her, nor would he feel so much bitterness toward her. Christine agreed that Phyllis and Daniel needed to talk and work out their issues, but first, Phyllis needed to stop being her own worst enemy. Phyllis accused Christine of being disingenuous. She claimed that Christine had persuaded a judge to take Phyllis' child away, and years later, when Phyllis had been desperate to see her son again, Christine had manipulated Daniel into living with her. Phyllis spat that Christine had tried to convince her that Christine was on her side.

Exasperated, Christine stated that no matter what she said, Phyllis would twist it into something else. Phyllis accused Christine of preventing her from seeing her child. Caustically, Christine said that Phyllis was absolutely right, because she had nothing better to do with her life. Phyllis claimed that Christine lived to undermine her. Christine said she was done and told Phyllis to leave. Phyllis stated she would return, and she left.

Raul arrived at Crimson Lights. Cody inquired about Brittany. Raul said that he kept encouraging Brittany to go out and sing. Cody told Raul that Danny Romalotti was at one on the tables, and he might be able to help Brittany. Cody said it would be a shame if Brittany stopped singing.

Danny was talking to Daniel about Phyllis. He said that Phyllis wanted to see Daniel, but Daniel didn't look happy about that prospect. He said that woman meant nothing to him. Danny tried to convince him, but Daniel didn't want to entertain the idea of a reunion with Phyllis. He said he was excited about being in Genoa City and spending time with Danny and his Aunt Gina. Danny told Daniel that Phyllis was very determined to see him. Daniel asked if Phyllis always got what she wanted. Danny said that Phyllis couldn't turn her back on Daniel, and he asked Daniel to give it some thought because it was inevitable that Daniel would run into Phyllis.

Raul approached Danny and asked if he could talk to him, but if it was a bad time, he would return later. Daniel said Raul's timing was perfect. He stood up and told Danny he would walk to Christine's, and he left. Danny invited Raul to sit down. Raul told Danny that he worked with Lauren at Fenmore's. Danny said he adored Lauren. Raul asked if Danny still sang. Danny admitted that he didn't sing as much as he would like to. Raul said he was looking for advice about his girlfriend, Brittany, and explained that Brittany was a singer, but she didn't seem to care since she'd gotten hurt. He asked if Danny would allow Brittany to give up if he were faced with the same situation.

Danny told Raul not to push Brittany too hard. Raul stated that Brittany was depressed, and she moped around the loft. He believed that if he got her back on stage, it would lift her spirits, and she would return to her singing career again. He asked if Danny had wanted to throw in the towel at the beginning of his career. Danny said he had because of the rejections, but he'd persevered. Raul said that he hated that Brittany had turned her back on her singing, because she loved it so much. Danny said that Brittany needed time. Raul admitted that he loved her and wanted to see her smile again.

Danny told Raul that perhaps Danny could help, and he offered to have a chat with Brittany. They agreed that Danny would meet with Brittany at the loft in the morning. Danny said he would give it his best shot, but he warned that Raul couldn't push Brittany because she had to make that decision on her own.

At the loft, Brittany had a flashback to a conversation she'd had with Raul. She'd told Raul that she got used to the looks on peoples' faces when they met her, especially men. In tears, Brittany had said that people tried not to react when they met her, but she could see the relief on their faces that they didn't have that scar on their faces.

Bobby arrived to check up on Brittany, and he greeted her with "Hey, good-lookin'." She said that she'd been attempting to make herself look less hideous. Bobby told her that Stan, a patron at the club, had asked when she would return to work. Stan had told Bobby he didn't care how Brittany looked because her singing brought tears to his eyes.

Bobby told Brittany that he'd wanted to see how she was doing and that he had a job for her at the back of the club, but Brittany said she didn't want a job. Bobby asked what she wanted. She said she didn't know, and she was tired of people telling her how to live her life. Brittany said she was contemplating being a backup singer. Annoyed, Bobby asked if she wanted to be a has-been at the age of 20. Brittany asked him if he was saying that she was washed up. Bobby said that wasn't what he was saying, but friends wouldn't always tell her what she wanted to hear. Brittany claimed she didn't want friends. Bobby angrily asked, "Who needs friends?"

Bobby picked up his coat and was about to leave when Brittany made an attempt at an apology. She said she didn't mean to drive him away, but Bobby claimed he wasn't the one with the makeup problem. Brittany retorted that it was more than a makeup problem. He said Brittany was right; he didn't understand where she was coming from, and because he wasn't sensitive enough, he would shut his mouth. He suggested that Brittany give him a call sometime to let him know she was still alive, and he left.

At Jabot, Jack told Dru and Damon that the orchid project was done. Dru asked if Jack was dropping the hair straightening product, and Jack said it was dead and buried. He said he'd said it wasn't worth pursing because it was too expensive, and it would have to pass regulatory approval. He said he needed a product that made money, not one that ate it. Upset, Dru asked if Jack had forgotten about Japan. Jack asked if she remembered what it was like not to have a job. Damon claimed that Jack wasn't using his brain. Jack barked that it was his decision to make, and he'd made it.

Jack told Damon he didn't enjoy the situation they were in. Damon asked if Jack was certain about that. Jack told Damon to get over himself because they couldn't go ahead with Damon's research. Damon disagreed and said that Jack needed another source of income. Jack told Damon that they would be getting a big fat check from Victor for what he'd done to them. Damon said that Jack hoped he'd get that large check. Jack corrected Damon and said he assumed he'd get the check, and they couldn't go through life without assumptions. He said that when Jabot got the check from Victor, Jack would decide how much to allocate to development.

Dru and Damon claimed that Jack's plan was shortsighted, but Jack said he was saving the company from extinction. Dru and Damon wanted to know how far that extinction went where they were concerned. Dru wanted a preview of the future and Damon claimed that Jack wasn't thinking too far ahead. Jack warned Damon to be careful because Damon had no idea how Jack had to juggle things just to pay Damon's salary. Dru demanded to know about Tuvia. Jack said that Tuvia was on life support, and the company was hanging on a thread. He told Dru to take the focus off herself.

Damon shouted at Jack that they had put all their efforts into that project, but Jack stated that starting a project wasn't a guarantee they would see it through. He insisted that Damon knew that. Jack claimed he had things to do. He told Damon to give his redheaded friend Jack's regards.

After Jack left, Dru exploded and said she'd known that the situation had been all about Phyllis, and she reminded Damon that Phyllis was Jack's wife. Damon corrected her and said she was his ex-wife, but Dru spat back, "Not yet." Damon claimed that Jack hadn't made it personal -- he'd kept it all about business. Dru accused Damon of thinking with certain parts of his anatomy, but Damon yelled for her to shut her mouth. Dru claimed she could see herself at the next interview, telling them how she'd been part of a big plan to change the world until her colleague had gotten the hots for the boss's wife. She said she'd be snatched up very quickly after that.

Damon told Dru that the hair straightener was a good idea, and they'd made progress. They had the essential elements of the orchid root separated and identified, and they needed to rethink what to do with it. Dru claimed that Damon had made that claim previously, but then he'd become mysterious about it. She wanted to know what he wanted to rethink. Damon said they weren't going to let Jack and Ashley ruin a good idea, and he wasn't finished with the orchid project yet.

Nikki and Sharon met Larry Warton close to the Lakeside Bar. Larry told them that he'd dumped Cameron's body into the sewer drain. He'd thought it would be the quickest way to get rid of the body, and no one would think to look there. He lifted the grate and told Sharon and Nikki they would have to go down there if they wanted to see the body. Nikki objected strenuously, but she followed Sharon into the rat-infested sewer. Nikki screamed when she saw the rats. Larry followed the ladies. Nikki stated that Sharon needed to see a psychiatrist.

Larry assured Sharon and Nikki that the guy he'd dumped there had definitely been dead and hadn't walked off. Nikki complained about the smell and was about to leave, but Sharon begged her to stay. Larry looked for the body, but there was no sign of it. He surmised that the recent heavy rains had washed the body further into the tunnels of the sewer. Sharon refused to give up because she was determined to see the face of the dead body. She had to be sure it was Cameron.

Nikki complained about the stench and suggested they return to the surface, but Sharon was determined to press on and find the body. She told Nikki to go back and said she would look for the body on her own. She went a few steps further and found a body wrapped in a sheet. Sharon was determined to make sure that it was Cameron, and she told Larry she wanted to see the face. Larry warned her that once she saw it, she would never forget it. Sharon told him to go ahead because she had to know. Larry lifted the sheet. Sharon saw the face, screamed, and fainted into Nikki's arms.
